Hi there
Myself and my partner are very enthusiastic about conservation, especially the replanting of forests which have disappeared over time in The Lake District.
My partner has 28 acres of woodland and fields. He doesn’t farm anymore as he sees the children of Lakeland losing their heritage and wants to bring them back to their roots.
I myself am a teaching assistant with Cumbria teaching agency and have a full DBS.
Our aim is to turn the entire 28 acres into a huge forest school, aimed at me taking children out, as well as space enough for schools to come and utilise what we aim to build with money (hopefully) donated from a crowdfunding.
I have 4 children myself, and am currently on maternity leave ( I don’t suppose you accept little bundles coming along strapped to mother in a sling? I’d be reluctant to leave her as she’s fully breastfed)
I’d love to join your training starting in March. We are based in UlphA near Broughton in Furness, so not too far fro Grizebec.
Any further info would be most gratfully received.
Kind regards, and all the best for New Year,
Theresa
